So Much to Say Thank You For!

There’s a lot that happens in an early learning day. A child finds the courage to join in. A new friendship begins. A tricky feeling becomes a little easier to understand.

Alongside those moments are educators who know when to offer encouragement, ask a question or simply sit beside a child while they work something out.

This week, Early Childhood Educators’ Day gave us an opportunity to celebrate the people who bring so much knowledge, care and creativity to the early years.

Early childhood education helps children build confidence, explore ideas and learn about themselves and others. Educators put thought and expertise into these experiences, often making something carefully planned feel wonderfully spontaneous.

At Bonkers Beat, we’ve been taking time to recognise that work and say thank you.

Our latest video brings together photos and messages of gratitude, sharing why we celebrate our educators and what they mean to our community. We’ve also shared an album from our celebrations, and we’d love you to take a look.

And, you can see an album of how we celebrated here!

Now we’d love to hear from you. How did you celebrate Educators’ Day?

Perhaps your child made a card, your team came together for a celebration, or you found a moment to thank someone who has made a difference to your family.

Please share your stories in the comments on our Facebook post. Educators and families, you’re all invited to join in!

To our Bonkers Beat team and educators everywhere: thank you for everything you bring to the early years.
